Amvleto Is Inspiration
Project inspsired in Purépecha ancient traditions and artisan techniques from Michoacán Mexico, mixing this legacy with contemporary design. Curated by mexican architect designer Daniela García. The workshop is divided in two, using metals such as copper from Sanata Clara del Cobre, bronze silver and others for jewlery and diverse objects . Natural fibers are weaved with chuspata ( reed from the lakes in Michoacán, Cuitzeo and Pátzcuaro) popotillo (wheat) and Tule (natural reed fiber). Both collections amvlets for space and body are 100 % handmade by different local families supporting their legacy and working on a sustainable project. All of our products are sustainable and handmade. Amvleto is a community that believes in art as a way of comunicating our thoughts and believes, weaving stories, people´s present past and future.
